Westfield Coomera Grand Opening
Just under a month ago, Scentre Group opened their $470 Million dollar Shopping centre – Westfield Coomera.
The Subzero Projects team attended the opening day to capture the excitement of opening day, & to see all of the tenancies that we had been involved with in the months leading up to.
With nearly half of the centres tenancies making up dining, leisure & entertainment services, there were a total of 15 rooms to be built & refrigerated, consisting of Cold rooms, Freezers, beverage rooms, a banana room, and also the bakery & deli prep areas for Woolworths & Coles.

The food court tenancies are sure be popular with families, in close proximity to the purpose-built recreational park called The Backyard. The Backyard is a 2600sq.m urban oasis, filled with tall trees, native flora and art sculptures. It includes kids play zones, scooter circuits, an interactive water play billabong, picnic tables and even a built-in BBQ for communal use.
