Volunteer Marine Rescue, Shorncliffe

Never in Subzero history had we seen an old coldroom built quite like this one & can you believe, it still worked?!?!

Having been built in the mid sixties, for the Sandgate Yacht Club, later to become the site of the Sandgate Air Sea Rescue, (now named Volunteer Marine Rescue Brisbane).

The good people at Volunteer Marine Rescue, Shorncliffe approached Subzero Projects to provide a price to demo & replace this piece of refrigeration history & we gladly accepted.

The VMR relies heavily on their coldroom when it comes to their important fundraising events. So with tight time frames, the team worked quickly to get the old room de-commissioned & removed from site.

The Subzero Projects Team had the room built, commissioned and back up & running again within the required time frame resulting in another happy customer.

We hope the volunteers enjoy a well-earned drink or two from their new Subzero Coldroom.
