Brighton Homes Arena, future home of the Brisbane Lions

Subzero Projects begins on site later this month, building 2 coldrooms, a freezer & a keg room at the new $70 million Lions training facility for Hutchinson Builders.

The Reserve Community Arena at Springfield began construction in 2020 & is set to welcome the Lions passionate supporters by late 2022.

The facility is funded by Ipswich City Council, the Federal and State Governments, Springfield City Group, the AFL and the club.

Artists render vs actual progress as at September 2021

The flat oval surface will greatly-enhance fence line views of the action, as well as spectator seating in the grandstand, hill areas and tiers around the oval, designed to bring members and supporters as close to the footy as possible.

This high-performance training and support centre for both men’s and women’s teams with the specially designed equal facilities will be a first of its kind in Australia.

Subzero Projects are excited to be a part of the action, building the 2 coldrooms, freezer & keg room, making this our 25th project for Hutchinson Builders.
