January Wrap Up
One month back and we have already kicked off, as well as finished some really fantastic projects for our clients.
With the volume of work being requested to quote, we cannot see any sign of our industry slowing down anytime soon!
Our concentration of tenders awarded continue to be predominantly across a couple of main sectors, being: Petroleum, Education & Hospitality scattered up and down the coast from The Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast. To give you an idea of the projects that are currently in progress, here is a cross section of work from just the last 30 days:
Sunshine Coast
To better serve the needs of the community, the Nambour General Hospital redevelopment will increase the hospital’s capacity and upgrade current clinical spaces. Subzero Projects are very pleased to have been awarded the supply and installation of a coldroom & freezer room for Connoisseur Food Equipment Services.
Brisbane
Gold Coast
Northern Gold Coast suburbs continue to expand at a rapid rate. It seems we just can’t build enough coldrooms for petroleum & fast food sectors in Coomera. We are currently in the process of delivering Cold rooms and Freezers (dual temps), at Caltex, Oporto & Red Rooster, all located at the new Coomera City Centre Drive development for FDC Constructions.
We are also building dual temps at KFC and Taco Bell for SJ Higgins at the new Coomera Town Centre South development.
Due to the very close proximity of the beach, we had the coil treated with a special anti corrosive treatment, Blygold. ‘Blygold coatings provide a remarkable long lasting and resilient corrosion protection for RTPF (Round Tube Plate Fin) heat exchangers. They finely seal off the heat exchanger from the environment, without affecting heat transfer and pressure drop.’ – https://www.blygold.com/services/coil-coating/
This type of treatment is a must for any refrigeration equipment that is exposed to the corrosive nature of salt air.
Work continues to progress at our major projects, Queens Wharf Brisbane for Built Pty Ltd as well as the Logan Hospital Expansion Project (LHEX) for Ellis Air.
