Motus Transport is a family-owned transportation and logistics company, specialising in cold storage warehousing and distribution of craft beer in NSW.

Starting back in 2016, operating out of a small, dusty underground basement in Brookvale, with Andy Harris in a hire van and Emily Harris processing orders from home. With only a handful of customers, Motus relocated to Rozelle and then to Mascot where they established themselves in the craft beer industry.

Fast forward 4 years later, with over 80 customers, a fleet of 20+ vehicles and a fully established warehousing team, they have become one of the biggest craft beer transport companies in NSW. The extent of this growth has seen them extend services as far as Newcastle /Central Coast, Canberra, Wollongong/ Southern Highlands, Maitland, the Blue Mountains and a new edition Coffs harbour.

Motus aim’s to act as an indispensable partner to customers and an extension of their business by simplifying the process of transport and delivering great service. The Motus team are a close-knit team of diverse people, dedicated to this vision and share a love for good beer & great people.

Motus are new to Qld with their first facility at Morningside. Subzero had the pleasure of installing the first stage of their refrigeration requirement, being a large coldroom 25 metres x 25 metres x 8.8 metres high. The project was delivered seamlessly and is operating at full capacity. Subzero provide 24/7 service and schedule maintenance plans to ensure the operation continues to run smoothly.

We installed this room using XFLAM insulated panel, for the walls and ceilings. Subzero custom made doors to suit, the customers requirements including fire exit doors and the supply of a Rapid Roll door for main access. We added to this 3 x refrigeration systems designed to allow for some redundancy for the room.
