Last month the construction team built a cold room for a 7 million dollar ferry (measuring at 32 metres), for Freezetec.
The Coolgaree Cat was built by Aluminium Marine Reefmaster who specialise in high speed catamarans for commercial operators. This cat in particular is destined to be utilised as a passenger & supply ferry to Great Palm Island, just north of Townsville.
The coldroom was built around the ship builders in stages, as access was made available & Freezetec completed the work by installing the refrigeration.
